This year marks the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and France. Today, as the breadth and depth of economic and trade relations between China and France continue to expand, the exchanges between Jiaxing National High-tech Zone and French companies have also continued to deepen.

Walking into the production workshop of Faurecia (Jiaxing) Automotive Parts Systems Co., Ltd., the intelligent production line is running at full capacity, and the workers on the assembly line are busy installing and testing products such as smart car seat frames, lumbar supports, and neck supports.

In July 2020, Faurecia Group, the largest automotive technology supplier in France and the seventh largest in the world, officially joined hands with Jiaxing National Hi-Tech Zone, opening a new chapter in the development of Faurecia’s automotive seat system business; in September 2022, its skeleton factory was officially put into production and simultaneously introduced the seat comfort parts project. In November of the same year, the factory signed a seat cover project and became a full-industry chain production factory for seats… In the past four years, Jiaxing National Hi-Tech Zone and Faurecia have witnessed each other’s growth.

Under the leadership of Faurecia, the industry leader, the High-tech Zone regards the high-end auto parts industry as a key link in building a modern industrial system. Through “building, supplementing, extending and strengthening the chain”, it has gathered many upstream and downstream auto parts companies, and initially formed a high-end auto parts industry chain of “new energy power system + intelligent vehicle system + electronic system + interior system”.

In recent years, Jiaxing National High-tech Zone has set the goal of “global advanced manufacturing base”, seized the opportunity of the construction of the photovoltaic industry core area of ​​the provincial “415X” advanced manufacturing cluster, and vigorously implemented the investment promotion strategy of “going out and recruiting in”, which has blossomed in the photovoltaic new energy industry, auto parts industry, and health care industry.
